This section explains how to deal with error generated while updating your software build number.

ERROR: Please check and set the permissions on the following directories and files to Read and Write permissions and rerun the update service.

Solution:

Set permissions to the files listed to 666 or 644, if you're still getting the same error,  try setting permissions on the directories leading to the files to 777 or 755.

If the file name listed does not exist at the specified location, set permission to the leading directories to 777 or 755. Depending on your server (e.g. /home/serverpath/cgi-bin/PlexcartAPIs/ApanelAPIs/sample.pm), you will need to set permissions on PlexcartAPIs and ApanelAPIs directories.

ERROR: Undefined subroutine &main::Softupdater called at /home/www/html/cgi-bin//PlexcartLib/sess.lib line xxx.

Solution:

Log-on to your server via FTP and navigate to the cgi-bin directory where PLEXCART PlexcartLib directory is located, open the directory and set permissions to 666 or 644 on all .lib files, if that didn't work, try setting permissions on your cgi-bin and PlexcartLib folder to 777 or 755.

ERROR: The updates was not completed, the update service server encounter an error, please try again later!

If you get the above error more than once during an update, please contact our Tech Support Staff or call 773 481-5340.

ERROR: The software that powered this web site is being updated by NicPlex® SmartSoft v3.0 and may take up to 10 minutes, please wait while the update is being completed, you will be automatically redirected to your requested page.

If you get the above error message during or after system update, and lasts for more than 10 minutes, please contact our Tech Support Staff or call 773 481-5340, be sure to include your server FTP information.
