Financial & Plan Module :: Preferences

 

Financial & Plan Module must be setup before adding or making any plan configurations, see below for instruction on to successfully setup the preferences.

 

Click on the Preferences link from the sub-menu:

 

 

Currency Prefix  

Type in the currency prefix for PLEXUM to use for all monetary signs ($, £).

 

Membership Fee Occurrence  

If your members are to be charged membership fee, the drop list below demonstrate how to setup the sequence members are to be charged.

 

Options:

 

  1. Weekly: every week

  2. Biweekly: every 2 weeks

  3. Monthly: every month

  4. Quarterly: every 3 month

  5. Semiannually: every 6 month

  6. Annually: every year

 

NOTE: if you are paying upline commission based on the membership fee, upline only receives commission when payments are received from a downline member on the upline genealogy.

Also, this setting will applied to all plan created and for membership billing setup, see AutoBill and ManualBill section.

 

 

Fund Manager Preferences  
This section explain how to setup commission payout, commission file downloads, minimum withdraws, etc...

 

Funds Withdraw Type

 

  1. Request: select if you want members to request for funds (commission payout).

  2. Mass Pay: select if you only want to generate payout at once for all members that qualified for commission payout.

  3. Request & Mass Pay: select if you want to incorporate both funds withdrawal type.

Commission payout can be generated at time desired, daily, weekly,  monthly, etc..

Deposit Funds

How often you want to deposit members' commission funds (e.g. referral commission, sales commission, bonus, etc) to their PLEXUM funds account. Include the start date in this format YYYY-MM-DD. Commission payout cannot be generated without funds deposited to member's holding fund account on PLEXUM.  

 

NOTE: you will only need to type in the start date once. The start date is the date you want PLEXUM to start depositing funds to members' holding accounts, and you must setup PLEXUM Automatic Task Scheduler for the funds to be deposited, see Automatic Task Scheduler.

Minimum Withdraws

Enter the value of the minimum amount of money that can be withdrawn each time a fund request or mass pay are made. The value should be in two decimal places (e.g. 20.00), with a $20.00 minimum, members that have anything less than $20.00 will not be included on the payout.

 

Override Payout Requirement
 

  1. Carry over Bonus commission: select Yes to enable PLEXUM to carry over member's bonus commission to the next commission pay period, select No if otherwise.

  2. Carry over Sales commission: select Yes to enable PLEXUM to carry over member's sales commission to the next commission pay period, select No if otherwise.

  3. Carry over Membership commission: select Yes to enable PLEXUM to carry over membership commission to the next commission pay period, select No if otherwise.

 

NOTE: If No is selected for any of the Override Payout Requirement option, and a member did not meet assigned plan requirement, the member's commission will be reset to $0.00.

 

 

Pre-enrollment  

New signee that sign-up as a pre-enrolled, are not added to the genealogy but can have a replicated web site, and recruit other full and pre-enrolled members. If a pre-enrolled member recruited a pre-enrolled member and the recruited pre-enrolled member then become a full member before the referring sponsor, the member is passed up to the referring pre-enrolled sponsors sponsor.

 

  1. Enable Pre-enrollment: Select Yes to enable Pre-enrollment sign-ups.

  2. Show Name to Sponsor: Select Yes to show pre-enrollees' names to referring sponsor.  

  3. Show Name to Members: Select Yes to show all pre-enrollee's name to members.  

 

NOTE: for Pre-enrollment feature to actually work, at least one plan must be a pre-enrollment plan, see Plan Manager Preferences for details.

 

 

In-Session Account  

New signee are put under in-session status pending payment, (e.g. if a new signee fills out the sign-up form and is taken to the payment page to make a payment and the payment gets declined or the signee simply close the payment window, the account is automatically put under in-session status) steps below shows how you can notify the new signee to make payment or be deleted.

 

  1. Notify Account Holder by Email After: Type in how many hours you want PLEXUM to wait before notifying the in-session signee (e.g. 5 will be for 5 hours).

  2. Delete Account After: Type in how many days you want PLEXUM to wait for the signee to complete the sign-up process before deleting the account (e.g. 5 will be for 5 days).

 

NOTE: In-Session account notification email template must be turned on and modified to suit your needs for in-session notifications, see Email Template for more details.

 

 

Plan Upgrade  

This section explains how to setup and handle plan upgrades.

 

  1. Enable Plan Upgrade: Select Yes if you want members to be able to upgrade their selected plan. This will show an upgrade link in members back office, select No if you do not want to enable this feature.

  2. Subtract Previous Fee: Select Yes if you want PLEXUM to deduct the cost of previous plan sign-up fee paid from the new plan purchase by members, if you select No, members will be charged full sign-up amount defined on the new plan.

  3. Calculate Bonus: Select Yes if you want to give bonus to upline for downline upgrades, select No if no bonus is to be given.

  4. Benefit URL (Optional): Type the link that explains your plan compensation benefits.

 

 

AutoBill  

AutoBill is useful for those charging membership fee, on a periodically basis (e.g. monthly).
 

  1. Enable Membership Fee AutoBill: Select Yes if you want to enable the AutoBill feature.

  2. Retry if card declined: If Yes is selected, PLEXUM will charge members credit card at the specified number of times (e.g. if the card is declined the first time, you can specify for PLEXUM to retry the transaction 3 times with 2 hours interval between each transactions).  Select No if you do not wish to enable this feature.

  3. Suspend Member Account: Select Yes if you wish to suspend members' account if credit card transaction is declined. Select No if you do not wish to enable this feature.

  4. Notify Before Billing Due Date: This gives you the option to specify the number of days ahead you want your members notified before they are automatically billed.

ManualBill  

ManualBill is useful for those charging membership fee, on a periodically basis (e.g. every month), but not throw an online payment processor gateway that are included on PLEXUM gateway module.

When a payment is received from a member, a simple manual step need to be taken to register the payment that is received. For help on registering payment see ManualBill Manager.
 

  1. Enable Membership Fee ManualBill: Select Yes if you wish to give members the option to mail-in their payments (e.g. by Check or Money Order). Select No if you do not wish to allow this option.

  2. Title to Display for this option: Enter the title to display for payment option on your payment option selection drop down list (e.g. Check, Money Order etc..).

  3. Suspend Member Account: This gives you the option to suspend members' account if payments are not received on their account by their billing day. Select Yes to enable this feature, otherwise select No.

  4. Notify Before Due Date: This gives you the option to specify the number of days ahead you want your members to be notified before their payment due date.

Members Deletion Notification  

  1. Notify Before Deletion: select Yes to Notify members before their account are deleted. Select No if you do not wish to enable this feature.

  2. Notify: days to notify member before account deletion (e.g. 2 for 2 days).

 

NOTE: See Plan Requirements section under the Plan Manager for more on deleting inactive members account.

 

 

Sales  

Here is where you setup your sales commission tracking through a shopping cart or any compatible online catalog (PLEXCART).

 

  1. Enable sales tracking: Select Yes, if you are using a shopping cart to sell products and want to track sales for commission purpose, otherwise select No.

  2. Commission-able Percentage: The percentage amount you want sales commission to be based on (e.g. 90 %, if a sale of $100 is made by a member, the amount that will be presented to the sales commission calculator will be $90), if this field is set to zero "0" or empty, the amount used for calculation will be 100 % of the total sales amount.

  3. Enable sales recurring commission: Select Yes to automatically enabled AutoShip on all sales, otherwise select No.

  4. Automatically approved & generate sales commissions: If Yes is selected, members and their upline will be automatically credited for sales without an approval from the administrator.

  5. Reject duplicate order: If Yes is selected, orders with the same order number in the database will be rejected.

  6. Sales commission cool-off period: If you want sales commissions be delayed for a period of time before commission is available for payout (e.g. if this option is set to 30, when a sale is made by a member, the member will see the commission but will not be available for payout until 30 days later).
