Quick Start

 

Quick Steps to setup PLEXUM X4

 

  1. Update your PLEXUM X4 application to the current build version number

    When you logged in to PLEXUM X4 administrative back office, and you may see an update notice, this mean that you are currently not running the updated version of PLEXUM X4.

    Your application may not function properly or be missing new features when an updated copy is not installed.  To install the new update, simply click on OK or click on the UPDATE SERVICE link on the left navigation menu.
  2. Install all needed add-on modules (e.g. Financial & Plan Module, Forced Matrix Module, Autoresponder Pro Module, etc)
    Section Link Location:     PREFERENCES & TOOLS -> Add-on Module Service.
  3. Setup PLEXUM X4 system configuration (e.g. domain name, main email address, server mail program, etc)
    Section Link Location:     PREFERENCES & TOOLS -> System Configuration
  4. Setup Genealogy Structure (e.g. 2x3, unlimited width/10 deep, etc)
    Section Link Location:     GENEALOGY MANAGER -> Preferences

  5. Setup Flex Field, this is for additional form fields for members sign-up form/profile.  PLEXUM X4 comes by default with Username, Password, SponsorID, First/last name and Email address fields, so if you need additional fields added (e.g. Telephone, Address, etc) you should create them before you continue with PLEXUM X4 setup.

  6. Setup Financial & Plan Module preferences (required only if this module is installed)
    Section Link Location:     FINANCIAL & PLAN MODULE -> Preferences

  7. Setup your members plan (required only if Financial & Plan Module is installed)
    Section Link Location: FINANCIAL & PLAN MODULE -> Plan Manager

  8. Add the first member, the member can be the company to start up your system.
    Section Link Location: MEMBER MANAGER -> Add a New Member

  9. Setup Site Manager preferences
    Section Link Location: SITE MANAGER -> Preferences

  10. Create your web site templates for replication (e.g. Home page, Contact Page, Sign-up Form, etc)
    Section Link Location: SITE MANAGER -> Web Site Template Editor

  11. Write/update system email templates (e.g. Member sign-up welcome letter, etc)
    Section Link Location: EMAIL TEMPLATE MANAGER

 

 You are now ready to put PLEXUM X4 to work!
